Howdy y'all, I'm George Gehrke, founder of George Gehrke's Flyfishing World, and I believe in the power of GINK.

 

As an avid fly fisher, I know all too well the magnificence of tossing out your bait on to a crystal blue lake, with an ice cold beer and the sun behind your back, only for it to all be sullied by the sinking feeling of not being able to keep it up. This happens to most men; after a few hours of plundering the great blue, your dry fly gets waterlogged and no longer floats properly, sinking pathetically below the water line. And then well heck, even the stupidest fish ain't falling for that one...

 

This was an all too common occurrence and would make me very insecure; what is a man without a good day of fishing? I would try so hard and not succeed, come home empty handed and my wife wouldn't even look me in the eyes. She could get what she wants but not what she needs, and our marriage was on the rocks. One day, I decided enough was enough, and set out to develop my own method of keeping my bait and manhood afloat. 

 

However, this was no easy task, and after much trial and error, I was unable to develop a liquid that perfectly preserved buoyancy and insect like behaviour, whilst also ensuring no caking of hackles and fibres.

But then its struck me. If mans goal is to deceive nature, why not turn to nature as a solution. And who knew the solution was inside me all along...

​

I remember the day I came upon this discovery; a storm was brewing off over the mountings and it felt as if the gods were playing tricks on me... not a single bite in 3 hours. My frustration was mountain, and well, a man can't fish if a man can't think.

 

It is known that there is only one sure fire way to clear a mans head, and being someone who's particularly adept at using a rod, I often resort to swinging it out over the lake to really let out my feelings. However, this time it was different. As always my gosh darn dry fly wasn't cooperating, but this time I felt the need to, well, put it back in its place I guess.

 

After casting my line, I tossed the dry fly back into the water and held my head in shame. But oh my gosh golly darn it you should've seen how it started floating. No caking of the hackles, perfect buoyancy, flawless insect like behaviour. I could not believe my eyes.

Ten million fire flies of joy burst out from within me. What an elegant solution to my ailments. I was certainly a satisfied customer, and this was the solution to all my problems. And now it'll be the solution to all of yours too.
